About Me
Sarah was born and raised in Northern England, moved to the United States in 1996 for Graduate School, and is now based in a small coastal village in West Marin, CA.
Sarah received a First Class Honors degree in Art and Aesthetics from Cardiff University, Wales and a Masters Degree in Painting and Drawing from Ohio State University.
Her source of inspiration for these hand cut glass mosaics is varied: from reviving ornamental pattern found in turn-of-the-century design through to the simplicity of pebble and stone mosaics of Mesopotamia.
Though she deeply enjoys transforming large rigid sheets of stained glass into flowing calligraphic design, it is an obsessive commitment she wouldn't wish on anybody.
